I remember coming through the gates as we returned from Italy, and feeling the sense of being home and being America, when the guy behind the window stamped my passport and said simply “welcome home.” But it should never bother you, it should never feel you are less than, it should never be illegal or scorned or embarrassing to say I belong to Jesus above all.
